Driver Training

Nerrigundah Brigade currently operates Category 9 and Category 7 appliances.  The Cat 7 vehicle requires as a minimum a licence endorsement to operate "Light Rigid" vehicles.  Relevant information can be downloaded from the Motor Vehicle Registry as follows:-

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Some brigade members who work full-time and find it difficult to attend training courses have asked whether previous experience or learning can be counted towards recognition of their abilities.  RPL is an assessment and recognition of an existing competancy based on gathered evidence.  A flowchart of the RPL process can be accessed here...
